“We are getting married on 19th August at 100 Barrington Road in Brixton.
We’ve looked at dozens of photographers but couldn’t quite identify what we didn’t love about the traditional approach to wedding photography. Then we found your work and we love it! You create exactly the relaxed style of shots we love that focus on capturing the day as it happens. We really hope you’re available on the date of our wedding.”
100 Barrington wedding plans
“We’ve chosen 100 Barrington Road in Brixton for several reasons. Firstly, it’s a cool industrial venue with an archway bar with a chandelier and a courtyard. It suits our quirky style and is just perfect for our summer wedding. Secondly, it’s local and we wanted to be able to have both our ceremony and reception at the same venue.
So, the ceremony will actually be a civil partnership led by the registrar. There will be three readings and our rescue dog will be the ring bearer.
After the ceremony, there will be drinks, then a vegetarian meal, followed by some speeches.
Harrison’s mum is adamant we have to have a wedding cake, so she will be baking a rum cake.”
Non-traditional wedding photography
“We don’t need any ‘getting ready shots’ or pictures of the party. So, your half day wedding photography package is probably right for us.
We would much rather have candid photos of friends and family than drag out the formal shots. If you could manage to capture some photos of our grandma’s, that would be really great.
Also, we’d love to have some photos of the two of us – we’ll be wearing each other’s favourite colour.”
