Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding photography
Vanessa and Patrick got married on a sunny April day. They chose not to have any ‘getting ready photos‘. Instead, they asked me to start the photographic coverage as they arrived at Old Marylebone Town Hall.
Old Marylebone Town Hall – Westminster Room
The ceremony took place at 2pm in the Westminster Room, the largest ceremony room at Old Marylebone Town Hall.
Wedding Routemaster
The whole wedding party got on a hired wedding bus. Everyone enjoyed the first celebratory drinks of the day and a ride to Kentish Town, North London.
The Bull and Gate wedding reception
Vanessa and Patrick had hired a cool pub wedding venue in North London for their reception: The Bull and Gate in Kentish Town, NW5. I particularly love the style of the dining room. The gorgeous floral design by The Floral Editor was just a perfect match.
Speeches
After dinner, a few of Vanessa and Patrick’s closest friends and family members gave some of the most hilarious speeches I have heard as a wedding photographer.
Couple shots
As the sun was setting, I invited Vanessa and Patrick for a little stroll around Kentish Town. It was a lovely quiet time to capture some relaxed couple shots in the golden hour.
Party Time
Some of the guests were still having fun trying out various accessories at the photo booth when the Bikini Beach Band started their first set in the bar area.
First Dance
The first dance took place in the main reception room where the DJ had set up. Guests joined in very quickly and I had a fantastic time capturing everyone dancing and having a great time.
