“Hi Barbara,

I hope you are well.

My partner and I are getting married on 16 August at Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green. We haven’t solidified our timings of the day yet but our ceremony should be around 3pm. We’d be looking for a full-day wedding photography package (your website mentions 9 hours which I imagine would be more than enough time).

Town Hall Hotel wedding plans

We are having our ceremony and reception (dinner, dancing, etc.) at Town Hall Hotel, with around 80 guests (many of them will be coming from overseas). We’re not having an actual civil wedding on the day. Instead, a good friend of mine will be acting as a celebrant (and later on, M.C.) and is preparing a short symbolic ceremony for us. There will be one reading and we’ll be exchanging rings.

Here are the approximate timings for the day:
14:00 Groom arrives at venue
14:30 Guests start arriving
15:00 Ceremony
15:30-15:45 Confetti + family photos
16:00 Cocktail hour
17:00 Dinner (speeches before and after dessert)
19:30 Cake cutting
20:00 First dance & dancing
22:00 Late night food

Informal Wedding Photography

In terms of photography, we’re really interested in more documentary style – I kind of hate having my picture taken and posing for pictures! We’d like the day to flow naturally and we want to spend as much time as possible with our guests. So, except for a few quick group pictures, we’d like you to concentrate on candid photos.

Coverage from 1pm to 10pm would be ideal. You could start at 1pm and come to my room to take some ‘getting ready’ photos. I’ll be getting ready with my closest friends and my parents might pop in. George will arrive at the venue around 2pm, it would be great if you could take some pictures of him with his best man and ushers. Then, after all the main events, you’ll still have plenty of time to capture dancing shots.
