“We’re looking for a photographer for our wedding at Waltham Forest Town Hall and Renegade Urban Winery on 5th July and love the look of your photos! We’re expecting about 120 guests in total.

Fellowship Heart Wedding Ceremony

“Louise and I are getting married at 12pm in the Fellowship Heart/foyer room in the Waltham Forest Town Hall (i.e. the big reception area when you first come in the building). The ceremony will be quite straightforward. Louise’s mum will be reading a short poem and we’ll be writing our own vows.

As you know, confetti are not allowed anywhere on Fellowship Square. Instead, after the ceremony, we thought it might be a good idea for us to stand outside the town hall as our guests come out so we can greet them all individually.

Then, we’ve hired a wedding bus to transport everyone to the reception venue (family will go on the first ride and we’ll stay behind with our friends). We could have some confetti when we arrive at the venue.

Renegade Urban Winery Wedding Reception

We have the whole of the Renegade Urban Winery for the reception. It’s a local industrial venue in Walthamstow with some outside space for drinks and speeches – the ideal place for our informal wedding.

At 3.30pm, there will be four short speeches (i.e. bride’s dad, bestman, myself and Louise) outside at the back. Dinner will be followed by a cocktail hour when evening guests will start to arrive.
Rather than a traditional ‘cake cutting’ (we’re having brownies), we’re planning on having a ‘smoke flare’ moment which should make for some great pictures.
Around 8pm, the DJ will be playing his first set. We’re not having a first dance, instead we hope that everyone will join us in dancing the ‘macarena’!”

Fun, Relaxed Wedding Photography

“I think we’d probably want you for the full day if that’s ok. We don’t need any ‘getting ready’ photos. So, from the ceremony onwards to early evening (approx 11:30 to around 8:30pm), does that sound ok?

We hope the vibe of the day will be quite casual, relaxed and fun. However, we’d like a few group photos outside the town hall, and some couple shots (but neither of us are very posy so your approach is perfect). Overall, we’d like lots of pictures of our friends and family having fun.”
