Woodberry Wetlands Wedding Plans

“We are both very much sunset lovers, and definitely want to take advantage of the London golden hour lighting. We chose a July wedding in the hope that we’d avoid a rainy outdoor wedding, but in that eventuality the wedding and reception will be held under a marquee – that said, I don’t think Vala nor myself would mind getting a little wet to take some outdoor shots still!

Here are the approximate timings:
6.30pm ceremony
We’ve hired Hannah, an LGBTQ+ celebrant to create a bespoke humanist ceremony for us as we’ll already be married by then. The ceremony will include two readings by our mums, a surprise ring bearer (we couldn’t decide who to pick) and a ring warming.
After the confetti throw, we’ll have a few minutes by ourselves. Then, we can have a couple of group photos.
7pm drinks and canapes
7.30pm 3-course dinner (we’re having Italian food and no seating plan)
8.30pm 3 speeches
9pm first dance

LGBTQ Wedding Photography

The energy we are trying to go for this wedding, in short, would be warm and vibrant. Your candid style is absolutely incredible, the love between the couples is captured so well! We definitely want to lean into that. However, we would prefer not to have ‘bride and groom’ poses as we’re a queer couple.
We’re expecting approximately 80 guests. My family will be coming from overseas and our friends are like a second family to us. So, we’d like you to focus as much on them as you will on us.
Ultimately, we’d like our photos to capture the intimacy of the ceremony but also the joy of the party.
It would be great if you could start the photographic coverage just before the ceremony as we don’t need any ‘getting ready’ photos.
